Color tends to darken with age
Color darkens and reddens with age.
The heartwood is a light to medium brown color.
Heartwood tends to be a light reddish brown, with nearly white sapwood.
Heartwood is a light pinkish brown when freshly cut.
Heartwood is orangish brown, wide sapwood is yellowish white.
Can vary in color based upon age and location of tree. Usually a light brown color with a hint of red and/or yellow, with darker growth rings.
Color ranges from nearly white, to an off-white cream color, sometimes with a reddish or golden hue.
Heartwood is light reddish brown.
Color can vary a fair amount with Honduran Mahogany, from a pale pinkish brown, to a darker reddish brown. Color tends to darken with age.
